Founders' First Meeting
It all began on the sun-kissed shores of Bondi Beach. Two surf enthusiasts, both passionate about coffee and beach culture, met by chance during an early morning surf session. What started as a casual chat turned into a vision to create a place where the ocean breeze meets the perfect cup of coffee.

Opening of Pokie Surf Café
In 2018, Pokie Surf Café opened its doors for the first time, just steps away from the waves. Our dream was to create more than just a café – we envisioned a space where surfers, locals, and travelers could gather, relax, and enjoy quality coffee and food in a laid-back coastal atmosphere.

Expanding Our Team
As the café gained popularity, our team grew to over 50 passionate individuals, all sharing our love for coffee, good vibes, and the ocean. Together, we’ve worked to perfect our menu and create a welcoming environment for every visitor.

Branching Out

New Café in Noosa
With the success of our Bondi Beach location, we expanded to Noosa in 2021. The coastal community there welcomed us with open arms, and our beachside café has become a favorite spot for both locals and tourists.

Introducing Our Surf & Brew Events
In 2022, we started hosting Surf & Brew events, combining our love for surfing and coffee. These events bring the community together for surf lessons in the morning, followed by fresh brews and breakfast at the café.

As of 2024, our cafés continue to thrive, and we’re exploring new ways to enhance our menu, events, and the overall Pokie Surf Café experience. From our humble beginnings on the beach, we’ve come a long way, but our love for surf, coffee, and community remains at the heart of everything we do.
